Great Italian cuisine in Cologne. The food was delicious and fresh. Since we caught a day where it was really busy, you had to bring some time, but still the staff or owner is friendly. These prices are just ok and with consistent quality but fair. Clear recommendation for a nice evening at the Italian.

Price-performance: Goes so. A bit expensive for what it is. eat Food is nicely presented. Ingredients are also ambitious (probably expensive to buy) but not always cooked to perfection. For example we had fish, but unfortunately was quite cooked, which was a pity (price 28 euros, photo of the fish) We also had calamari for starters, which were really well prepared and good value, but after that I ordered a salad as a main course. At least the salads are separated from the starters in the menu. So I thought the crowd was just main courses. But what came next was not to be distinguished from the appetizer (and priced with 17 euros also proudly, see photo). The atmosphere: Very nice. All in all, the restaurant is very bright and there is also a nice outdoor area which of course can be nice in summer. However, the atmosphere is more due to the architecture of the building, than that now overly much decoration was used. service The food and drinks came very fast. However, we would have liked a few more proactive demands (eg a coffee at the end). All in all, we would not come back because of the mediocre value for money.

Sitting outside is amazing these days. In addition the delicious food and the funny sayings, that makes really good mood and fun.

Claudio is always fabulous, I visit every year when I am in Cologne on Business.

I havent been treated this bad by any restaurant (esp. in this price category). Not to mention the rasist comment the owner used - thats why only 1 *. Let me explain it roughly... I was there 2x... 2 times full of pain. Why the second visit? The same reason why I went there for the first time. I was invited and joined the group simply to be nice and respecting the one who invited me of course, plus spending some great time with some colleagues after work. The service was ultra terrible. Instead of writing down the orders or bringi them to us and serve it properly, they served us as if we were there for free or pleading him for free meals... And how come the italian Boss (owner & waitress) whined and verbally haressed his guest in his language just in front of the guests his mentioned in his nag? Two of the ladies at our large tables were INDEED Italians and were shocked hearing it. Plus his nazism abusement... The food? The appetizer tasted like can food. Pityfully small (Im talking about the regular main course) plate of mini steaks. The desserts? I could get a better Tiramisu with half of the price. 1 * for the ambiance n that I didnt come home sick!
